The Virginia State Association of Parliamentarians (VSAP) is a small nonprofit who is completely volunteer-led. Every year, VSAP conducts an Annual Convention where members gather for business meetings, fellowship, and continuing education. For years, VSAP’s volunteers have conducted a paper registration process, requiring hours of volunteer time to track sign-ups and payments.
Midas Kenkyuu LLC implemented electronic registrations for VSAP. For the first time, the association could accept credit card payments which flowed directly to VSAP’s bank account. As a result of these efforts, VSAP was able to safely and securely receive event registrations and funds, alleviating the previous all-paper process that required scores of volunteer hours. Instead, the volunteers were able to focus their efforts on aspects of the Convention.
